NALSD serves as a unified voice for the development of legal services programs for the vulnerable elderly as funded by the Older Americans Act. By doing this, NALSD improves access for the elderly to legal services and assists in meeting the legal needs of those most at risk socially and/or economically.
To Register for the 2014 Annual NALSD Symposium:
The NALSD Symposium will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM at the World Forestry Center, Mt. Hood Room, in Portland, Oregon. A light-rail train runs from the Elder Justice Conference hotel to the Symposium venue.
There are now TWO different methods to complete your Symposium registration payment:
PAY BY SNAIL MAIL: Please download, complete, and return by mail the Symposium Registration Form to c/o TCSG, ATTN: Brooke Fajardo, 2307 Shelby Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. PAY BY CREDIT CARD THROUGH PAYPAL: NALSD now offers the option to pay through PayPal by credit card. To complete your 2014 Symposium registration payment by credit card, please click the yellow "Buy Now" button below for the appropriate registration level (depending on your NALSD membership status) and email your Symposium Registration Form to Brooke Fajardo (bmccreary@tcsg.org) at TCSG. NOTE REGARDING SYMPOSIUM REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fees for this year's Symposium are three-tiered. We are trying this as a way to help cover costs of meeting space, food, etc. In past years, the costs have been high and paying them all from NALSD dues is not sustainable. The three tiers are:
For paid 2014 NALSD members, a registration fee of $50;
For non-members who wish to attend the Symposium only, a registration fee of $95; and;
For non-members who wish to attend the Symposium and also enjoy the benefits of NALSD membership throughout 2014, a "Symposium Plus" fee of $145.
